솔라리스2 에서 버클리 디비 1.85 설치

파일가져와서 압축풀기
- 위치: ftp://ftp.nuri.net/incoming/db.1.85.tar.gz
- 가져오는 방법
  - ftp ftp.nuri.net
  - cd incoming
  - bin
  - hash
  - get db.1.85
    - 압축풀기 tar -xvvzf db.185.tar.gz
      또는
      gzip -d db.185.tar.gz
      tar -xvf db.185.tar

db-1.85/PORT 디렉토리로 이동하여 다음과 같이 실행한다.

  이것은 솔라리스 2에서 컴파일할 환경을 만들어 주는 것이다. (뒤의 점을 유의하세요)
  2.1  ln -s sunos.5.2 sunos.5.5
  2.2  cd sunos.5.5
  2.3  cp ../Makefile .
  2.4  chmod 644 Makefile
  2.5  ln -s ../clib
  2.6  ln -s include sys 
  2.7  cd include
  2.8  ln -s ../../include/*.h .
  2.9  rm compat.h
  2.10 cp ../../include/compat.h
  2.11 chmod 644 compat.h
  2.12 cd ..

Makefile을 ANSI C 컴파일러에 맞게 수정한다. (gcc사용을 전제) 만일 gcc2.72가 없다면 여기서 이미 컴파일된 파일을 가져다 사용한다.

Makefile에서 다음부분을 수정한다.

  3.1  라인2: CC= gcc
  3.2  라인3: RANLIB= /bin/true
  3.3  ranlib $@ 를 찾아서 ${RANLIB} $@ 로 바꿔준다.
  3.4  라인4: INSTALL=/usr/ucb/install
  3.5  라인5: INSTALLDIR=/usr/local
  3.6  hsearch.o ndbm.o를 찾는다.
  3.7  ndbm.o을 지운다. 그러면 hsearch.o만 남는다 

       이것은 버클리 디비가 ndbm.o을 가지고 있어 기존 솔라리스에 있는 ndbm을 보호하기 
       위해서이다. 솔라리스에 있는 ndbm은 NIS에서 사용하기 때문에 다른 것으로 바꿔서는
       안된다. 이것을 이것을 지우지 않으면 NIS 앨리어스 데이터 베이스를 사용할 수 없다.
       자세한 내용은 sendmail-8.8.5/src/READ_ME에 나온다.

  3.8  Makefile의 맨끝으로 이동한다.
  3.9  다음과 같은 행을 추가한다. (자동 인스톨을 위함)

install:    ${LIBDB}
          /bin/test -d ${INSTALLDIR}/lib || ${INSTALL} -d -m 755 ${INSTALLDIR}/lib
          /bin/test -d ${INSTALLDIR}/include || ${INSTALL} -d -m 755  ${INSTALLDIR}/include
          /bin/test -d ${INSTALLDIR}/include/sys || ${INSTALL} -d -m 755  ${INSTALLDIR}/include/sys
          ${INSTALL} -c -o root -g bin -m 644 ${LIBDB} ${INSTALLDIR}/lib
          ${INSTALL} -c -o root -g bin -m 444 include/db.h ${INSTALLDIR}/include
          ${INSTALL} -c -o root -g bin -m 444 include/cdefs.h  ${INSTALLDIR}/include/sysHP-UX 9.x.

주의

755다음 ${INST...로 끝나는 다음행은  윗줄에 붙어야 합니다. 한글로 편집하느라 다음줄로 
넘어가버렸습니다. 그래서 모두 7줄이 됩니다. 그리고 install행 다음에 줄의 처음과 문자 
/bin/test..가 나오는 부분은 공백이 아니고 ** 탭 ** 입니다. 그러니 복사 붙이기 기능을 
이용하여 붙이면 탭이 공백으로 바뀌니 공백을 지우고 탭을 넣기 바랍니다. 그렇게 하지 않으면 
sun0s.4.1.3이전 버전의 make는 에러가 날 것입니다.

  3.10 Makefile 을 저장하고 빠져나온다.

4. 자신의 path에 gcc 컴파일러가 있는 행을 추가한다.

  4.1 C/Tcsh 쉘 사용자: path = (/usr/ccs/bin $path)
  4.2 본쉘 사용자: PATH=/usr/ccs/bin:${PATH}; export PATH

5. make 명령을 내려 컴파일한다.
6. root의 권한으로 make install 명령을 내려 인스톨한다.

센드메일 8.8 컴파일 방법

makesendmail을 친후 조금 지나 CTRL+C 를 누릅니다. 그리고 obj.SunOS.5.5.1.sun4 디렉토리로 이동합니다. Makefile 을 편집하여 다음과 같이 추가합니다.

라인 26에 DBMDEF= -DNDBM -DNIS -DNISPLUS -DNEWDB
     NIS를 사용하지 않는다면 -DNEWDB만 추가해도 됩니다.
라인 29에 ENVDEF= -DSOLARIS=20501 
라인 34에 INCDIRS= -I/usr/local/include (db.h가 있는 디렉토리를 지정하는 것입니다)
라인 37에 LIBDIRS= -L/usr/local/lib  (libdb.a가 있는 디렉토리,( NEWDB)를 지정합니다)
라인 41에 -l44bsd를 지웁니다. LIBS=-lresolv -lsocket -lnsl -lelf
라인 41에 -ldb와 -lkstat을 추가합니다. LIBS=-lresolv -lsocket -lnsl -lelf -ldb -lkstat
라인 88에서 #를 떼냅니다.  NROFF= nroff -h
라인 89에서 #를 붙입니다.  #NROFF=  groff -Tascii
라인 90에서 #를 붙입니다.  #MANDOC= -mandoc
라인 91에서 MANDOC= -man을 추가합니다.

이제 저장하고 빠져나옵니다.
make라고 칩니다.
컴파일이 되면 make install 하면 설치됩니다.

그후에는 제글을 참조하여 컨피그를 잡으면 됩니다.

센드메일을 컴파일할 때 혹시 snprintf가 missing in libdb.a의 에러글 내면 /usr/local/lib/db.h로 가서 db.h를 편집기로 열고 라인 38에 다음을 추가합니다.

이렇게 하고 db.1.85를 다시 컴파일합니다. 그리고 센드메일을 컴파일합니다. 이것은 conf.h의 415행에 나옵니다. 이에 대한 자료는

그리고 GCC컴파일러에 관해서 주의할 사항이 있습니다. 만일 gcc 컴파일러를 설치하셨다면 이 컴파일러를 위한 헤더화일이 /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solairs2.5/2.7.2/include에 설치됩니다. gcc가 이 헤더화일에 적절히 접근하기 위해서 센드메일의 Makefile을 고칠 필요가 있습니다.

OLD:   INCDIRS=-I/usr/include -I/usr/local/include
NEW:  INCDIRS=-I/usr/local/include

/usr/local/include는 db.h가 설치된 디렉토리입니다. 만일 db.h를 /usr/include에 설치하였다고 /usr/include로 지정하면 안됩니다. db.h는 반드시 /usr/local/include에 설치하시고 위와 같이 지정해 주세요.

        I was able to get my problem figured out.
There were a couple things at play, so I went to a fresh machine and
started over.  First, I highly suggest that you head to:
http://www.iicons.com/sendmail/buildme.html 
and follow those instructions for properly building sendmail with
db 1.85 support.  I believe that I had a corrupted installation of
libdb.a (it had ndbm in there and it was hosing up the sendmail compile), 
so I went to a machine that didn't have libdb.a installed and went
through Paul's instructions at the above URL.  And it compiled cleanly!
I was using gcc 2.7.2.1 to do the compile - you might want to head to:
http://smc.vnet.net/solaris_2.5.html   and pick up a copy - it's a
pre-compiled binary form.  If you need any help, let me know - I think
I've gotten much better at tweaking the compile of 8.8.5 on 2.5.1
